Medtecs International Corporation Limited, founded in 1997, manufactures medical consumables including surgical attire, patient apparel and medical bandages. The Company also acts as agents to distribute medical devices such as digital blood pressure equipment and respiratory treatment equipment. Medtecs manufactures and sells woven and knitted medical textile goods of similar nature.
The company has offices and manufacturing facilities in 6 countries and currently employs around 3,200 employees worldwide, around 1,000 are employed here in the Philippines. Our mission is to become the largest international PPE and textile manufacturer in the world. To do this, we need your help. 1. Medical Representative
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course related to Medical and Allied Sciences, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, and any related discipline
- Must have average to above average English communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have experience in Presentation and Management Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Applications
- Can persuade people, sociable and with pleasing personality
Job Description:
- Visits prospective clients to present and make negotiations about the featured product
- Sells and gives samples to prospective clients
- Inform clients about the product's price, warranty, nutritional value, side effects, and other important information
- Makes a routine visit to different hospitals and community centers to present the products
- Presents to prospective clients
- Can achieve if not exceed the set sales quota
2. Account Executive
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course related to Medical and Allied Sciences, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, and any related discipline
- Must have average to above average English communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have experience in Presentation and Management Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Applications
- Can persuade people, sociable and with pleasing personality
Job Description:
- Creates market survey for potential customers
- Develop new accounts and maintain service to old accounts that may be assigned to
- Makes and evaluates project feasibility
- Prepares initial and final proposals to prospective customers, with the approval of the Sales Manager
- Coordinates/cooperates with the Marketing staffs with regards to sales presentations
- Prepares annual sales forecast
- Participate in various marketing activities such as conventions, customer’s activities, seminars, plant tour, etc.
- Awareness in competitor’s activities
- Create and monitors project plans for newly-opened hospitals
- Maintains ‘after-sales service’ to customers thru coordination with the Operations group
- Assist in the collection and or delivery if needed
- Other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
3. Pharmacist
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course related to Medical and Allied Sciences, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, and any related discipline
- Must have average to above average English communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have experience in Presentation and Management Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Applications
- Must know how to coordinate and communicate with government offices as regards to licensing, approval, and product validation, among others.
Job Description:
- Ensures that the licenses and regulatory standards are being met and followed
- Monitors and supervises the regulatory affairs of the company
- Secures certifications from DOH/FDA for selected medical consumable products and upcoming medical devices products
- Leads and manages the consultant pharmacists of the organization
5. Accounting Assistants
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course related to Accountancy, Finance and Management, and any related discipline
- Must have average to above average English communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have experience in Presentation and Management Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Applications
Job Description:
- Prepares and process accounts payable vouchers and encodes same in the accounting system
- Prepares SOA, JVs and debit/credit memo
- Prepares bookkeeping, from preparation of vouchers to financial reports. Maintains related schedules.
- Filing of accounting documents
4. Shipping Manager
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course related to Commerce, Logistics, and Management, and any related discipline
- Must have average to above average English communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have experience in Presentation and Management Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Applications
- Must know how to coordinate and communicate with government offices as regards to product shipment and movement, among others.
Job Description:
- In-charge in planning, directing, organizing and controlling activities of the Import/Export personnel.
- Ensure efficient delivery of Import/Export services
- Establish and implement work systems and procedures related to Import/Export operations
- Liaise with government agencies i.e., GTEB, Bureau of Customs, PPA, PEZA, etc.
- Assign brokerage services, trucking services, forwarding services and shipping services.
- Negotiate with carriers and airlines including forwarders as well as with other third-party providers for most reasonable rates and charges.
- Maintain complete records and documentations of all transactions for both import and export matters.
- Assist in the over-all management of quota forecasting and requirements.
